Y3 is a series of lamps which can be altered effortless in any possible angle. It's key mechanism are three spring loaded strings, holding the lamps pole in place whilst creating a choreographed movement of the springs.

It's pole is connected to the three legged base by a ballhead, enabling it to lean over without the limitation of directed joints. ​The three legged base supports enough width to secure it from tipping over, whilst supporting the stretch of the tension springs.

The head refers to the base of the lamp to create a consistent use of form. In essence, Y3 picks up the shape of a classic floor lamp and extends it by using a comprehensive mechanism.
