Specto is a playful approach to giving light a direction. Window blinds are used to cancel out the light coming from outside, covering an illuminated surface partially or completely. Specto turns this effect around. Instead of obscuring a source of light, the blinds themselves are emitting the light. In return this means the object itself remains permeable to light when switched off whilst giving the light a direction when switched on.
